21-10-2007 - Seniors Money Leinster Fourball Trophy Final

The competition was organised by the Leinster branch of the Golfing Union of Ireland and was sponsored by Seniors Money. The competition began back in April of this year when 116 clubs entered and was run on a knockout basis until the last two teams came head to head at Sunday’s final. Esker Hills took second place and, as Derek Casey, Wexford team manager, acknowledged, both teams brought great skill and determination to the game which made for a very competitive and exciting final.

Tara Collins , Marketing Manager commented, “The Heritage was also a fantastic location to host this event. Congratulations to all the teams that took part in the competition and special congratulations to both Wexford and Esker Hills who came so far and whose sheer enthusiasm and dedication was so apparent in the final."
